Capacity- Drobo lets you use "any drive, any size, any time." You can always change disks in your Drobo while it's running- and within a Drobo connectivity family, you can move your disk sets to larger Drobos. Start with a 4- bay (4-disk) and move to a 5 or an 8

Connectivity- Drobos can plug directly into your computer via USB 2.0, USB 3.0, FireWire or eSATA, or sit on your network as a "share drive" (NAS) via Ethernet- or for business applications, connect via Ethernet iSCSI (e.g. act as a SAN)
