Malvern, PA, January 11, 2012 – On November 7, 2011, Governor Christie enacted P.L.2011, c.139 into law.  This law affects public contracting laws for all government contracting agencies by permitting agencies to use contracts awarded by “national” or “regional” cooperatives or other states that were competitively bid.  The law supplements existing law on the use of such contracts and is intended to provide additional flexibility to local governments in the area of procurement.

With the new law, New Jersey educational institutions (colleges, universities and K-12 schools) now have the ability to make purchases by means of other state contracts, including PEPPM and COSTARS.  Comm Solutions Company, one of the areas largest value added multi-vendor technology leaders, and the majority of our strategic manufacturing partners, are listed on the PEPPM contract.
