Chief Executive Officer
Paul Black is a principal and the CEO of Comm Solutions. His responsibilities include setting the strategic direction for the company, implementing growth strategies, structuring and staffing departments, managing for continuous improvement in operations, selecting and nurturing partnerships, directing sales and marketing and maintaining healthy major client relationships. After taking ownership of the company and assuming the role of CEO in 1998, Paul gradually transformed the company from a small cable assembly and layer one distribution company into the area’s largest “best of breed” value added information technology reseller, re-branding the company as Comm Solutions Company in 2004. Prior to joining in 1987, he worked in the telecommunications industry for Cable and Wireless.
John Black is a principal and the President of Comm Solutions. He is responsible for strategic vision and oversight of the day to day operations of the company, as well as managing the Operations, Finance and Human Resources departments. John has authored the innovation and collection of business intelligence for Comm Solutions, analyzing business trends and guiding investment of resources to maximize return. John oversees and integrates the ERP software platform with other key business software such as CRM, and industry specific scheduling and help desk software platforms. John started with Comm Solutions in 1997. Prior to joining Comm Solutions, he worked at Merrill Lynch and Automatic Data Processing in their technology departments.
Chief Operating Officer
William Buckalew supervises Operations, Engineering, and the Internal Sales staff and ensures that daily operations are managed efficiently and cost effectively. Bill is responsible for technically enabling our professional services department, ensuring thorough training and technical certifications, as well as being responsible for all client training, the lab environment and overall technology infrastructure. Bill has enabled Comm Solutions’ rapid growth by recruiting key personnel, developing efficient processes and cross-checks to enhance the quality of the company’s deliverables; he has successfully overseen large international technology implementations for several fortune 100 companies.
Bill manages major vendor relationships and helps identify and ensure our technical enablement for new technology solution partnerships. Working towards the strategic goals of the company, Bill provides tactical direction to the Comm Solutions’ employees and implements organizational processes to solve complex business challenges for both clients and internal operations.
Prior to Comm Solutions, Bill spent 15+ years within the Information Technology and Manufacturer industries where he developed strong leadership skills, technical aptitude and led many team achievements. Bill is a former United States Marine.
Vice President of Sales
Craig Tarnoski has a vast history working on complex environments and sales cycles. Craig’s background includes working with many Fortune 500 clients, major Healthcare institutes, Education clients, and Financial institutes. During his 10 years at Comm Solutions, his responsibilities have included direct sales, territory development, vendor relationship management and sales management. Craig has helped to expand Comm Solutions’ customer base into New Jersey, Northern Pennsylvania and the New York Metro region. Craig is committed to client satisfaction and continues to assist in growing Comm Solutions as a top partner in the region.
Prior to Comm Solutions, Craig has worked in the IT industry supporting both inside and outside sales efforts. Previous to IT, Craig worked in the medical industry for 5 years selling R&D lasers, as well as aesthetic lasers to medical professionals within the New York Metro and Greater Philadelphia area.
Vice President of Finance
Jeff Rokicki brings over 20 years of financial accounting and reporting experience from a variety of senior-level finance positions in the technology space in the Greater Philadelphia area. He is responsible for the overseeing the day to day operations of the Finance Department; which includes financial reporting, taxes, budgeting, financial systems, strategic planning and benefit planning at the Company.
Prior to Comm Solutions, Jeff served as the Chief Financial Officer of two Philadelphia area companies, ProtonMedia and Miria Systems. He started his career in accounting at KPMG LLP, independent certified public accountants, where he worked as a supervising senior accountant. Mr. Rokicki holds a B.S. degree in accounting from Rutgers University, and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Senior Director of Marketing
Danielle Kugler is the Senior Director of Marketing at Comm Solutions and is responsible for the development of the corporate marketing strategy, brand, and communications. Her goals include working diligently with strategic partners to serve our clients with the best solutions available, as well as expanding Comm Solutions growth by aligning closely with the sales team.
She previously held positions within a full service marketing agency serving clients and their various marketing needs as well as within a channel driven organization enabling and strengthening the partner marketing program within the partner community.
PMO/Support Services Manager
Mike McKee manages the Project Management Office and Inside Sales Department and is responsible for the strategic development and continual refinement of processes for support services. The PMO handles all aspects of projects from Pre-Sales to completion, along with support for customer service engagements; while the Inside Sales Department processes all sales orders from initial quoting through invoicing.
Mike has 20 years in the Information Technology industry and has been with Comm Solutions Company since 2003; involved with the Project Management practice since 2008. During this time, Mike has worked with management to develop the Project Management Office and create consistent project process flows and procedures. Mike has been managing the Inside Sales department since 2015. Previously, he was a Network Engineer and served as the lead on several network infrastructure upgrade projects, as well as provided network support for campus LAN environments.
As Technical Services Manager, Josh Clingan supervises the engineering resources and is responsible for daily and strategic utilization of technical resources, as well as technically enabling our professional services department; ensuring thorough training, including manufacturer certification, authorization, and enablement. Josh is committed to customer satisfaction and manages satisfaction tracking and problem resolution.
During his 3 years at Comm Solutions, Josh has performed the duties of Senior Network Engineer and Mobility Practice Manager. He has worked with a variety of customers from K-12 schools to large financial corporations, as well as serving as lead engineer on many network infrastructure upgrades. Josh is an expert in wireless network design and implementation, routing and switching, advanced authentication, firewalls, and mobile engagement.
Prior to Comm Solutions, Josh spent 10+ years within the IT industry supporting the higher education industry and managing a campus LAN environment, including all switching, routing, SAN, WLAN, and firewall infrastructures.
Project Management Practice Leader
Matthew Hall is the Project Management Practice Leader, PMP at Comm Solutions Company and is responsible for managing the team of individuals who handle all aspects of a project, from the initial pre-sales activities to completion, alone with any non-project related customer support initiatives, while also performing daily project management activities. The department focuses on planning, budgeting, coordinating appropriate resources, status updates and meetings, documentation, and constant customer communication. His goals include generating and implementing initiatives directed from the PMO as well as ensuring customer satisfaction across the board.
Prior to Matthew joining Comm Solutions Company as a Project Manager in February 2013, he worked as a Human Resources Representative.
